Posted by admin in November 20th 2008

Andrew Golota is one of the best - known Polish boxers. His career was full of difficulties and controversy. In 1992 he became a professional fighter. In October 1997, WBC decided to create him their number one challenger, so they arranged a fight against Lennox Lewis. Golota received an incredible chance to win world’s Heavyweight championship in Atlantic. Unfortunately Lewis was undefeated. He needed only 62 seconds to knock Golota down, and 89 to finish the fight. The Golota’s career seemed to be ruined…

But after few fights, Don King gave to Golota second chance to become a heavyweight champion. On 21 May 2005 he was fighting against Lamon Brewster. Brewster - world champion, knocked Golota down three times in the first round. The referee had to stop the bout. The fight was finished after 53 seconds.

Golota did not correct his mistake, and on 16th November 2008, during the fight against Ray Austin, he was covering with knocks down… The fight lasted for one round…

Goalkeeper who scores and looses a goal…in 30 seconds.

Posted by admin in November 19th 2008

On 17th April 2004 FC Schalke 04 was playing against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. During the match something really controversial happened. Bayer’s goalkeeper - Hans-Jörg Butt is well-known for taking penalty goals. He was able to score 26 goals in Bundesliga. But the goal from this match is extremely special. After scoring the penalty Butt started celbrating with his teammates and when he reached the goal he saw a ball laying in the net. While he was coming back to his position, the referee - Jorg Kessler, gave a softly sign for kick-off. One of the Schalke’s players - Mike Hanke kicked off and… scored a goal. Luckily Bayer Leverkusen won 3-2. I wonder if Butt was hard of hearing or did the referee make a huge mistake?

How to strike and be struck in the same time…

Posted by admin in October 30th 2008

The knockout is a blow that makes an opponent fall to the ground and be unable to to get up, so that he looses fight. But what if two boxers hit each other in the same moment? Man cannot say who is the winner. Just like referees… These are really incredible situations. First video is tai-boxing fight between Ben Smullen from Australia and Kaichon Sor Vorapin from Thailand. This double-knockout is really surprising…

Second fight is from the May 2005. Sechew “Iron Horse” Powell was fighting hand-to-hand with Cornelius “K9” Bundrage. Powell was undefeated.

Another amazing double knockout from MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)…

Next video is also spectacular. These kind of situations do not happen very often. It was a fight between Shaun Tyler and Brian Parker.

And last, but not least, extremely funny video. One of the fighters hurt his opponent and then…hurt himself by accident…

Nobody is perfect, especially these goalkeepers…

Posted by admin in October 25th 2008

First video is about the goalkeeper, who forgot, that he should stay in the goal during the all match… This match was extremely important - Euro 2000 qualifier. Slovenia was playing against Ukraine. Unfortunately Ukraine lost 2-1. The Slovene shooter, who scored one of the goals, was Milenko Ačimovič. But it was not a very tough work- the goal was empty. The Ukrainian goalkeeper - Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Shovkovskiy destroyed chances for the finals…

This Brazilian goalkeeper was not even close to the goal, when attacker from the opposite team scored. This was Brazilian Serie B match between Avai and Gama. Unfortunately after the goalie’s mistake, Gama lost 3-0. He should be definitely more careful…

The most dirty tackles in the football history.

Posted by admin in October 17th 2008

Fouls happen during every single match. Some players are tying to take the ball from an opponent in a very aggressive way. These two videos show the most unpleasant tackles. It seems that both heroes of these films wanted to attack an opponent not a ball. They look just like fighters. Both these situations seem to be very dangerous.

How not to do motorcycle wheelies…

Posted by admin in October 16th 2008

In vehicle acrobatic, the wheelie is a trick, where the front wheel come off the ground. It is not easy, because drivers usually drive motorcycles at break-neck speed. Some amateurs are too confident. First video is about unskilled driver, who should have been fined for speeding. His accident looked very seriously. Luckily the guy survived. But man can not say it about the motorcycle…

On the second video four guys are driving the motorcycles. Although the others were driving very calm, the fourth one wanted to make a wheelie. Unfortunately he did not manage to do it…

Leaning back too far will cause the bike to fly out from under the rider. But as man can see on the next video, the driver has forgotten about this rule. He wanted to have a ride with his girlfriend, but he… lost her…

The ball disappeared from this Japnese goalkeeper’s sight… unfortunately he failed and the ball lied in the net. Steven Bradbury wins the competition by fortune!

Posted by admin in October 14th 2008

Steven Bradbury is an incredible sportsman. He is well-known of his gold medal win in the men’s short track 1000 meters during Olympic Games Salt Lake City 2002. In the final, Bradbury was in last place, but then all his opponents - Apolo Anton Ohno, Ahn Hyun-Soo, Li Jiajun and Mathieu Turcotte, crashed out at the final corner. Steven was completely shocked. It was first gold medal for Australia in the history. After winning his medal, he said: “Obviously I wasn’t the fastest skater. I don’t think I’ll take the medal as the minute-and-a-half of the race I actually won. I’ll take it as the last decade of the hard slog I put in.”
