It is believed, that all sports are dangerous. But some of them are more than others. Surprisingly athletics, can be incredibly critical. These videos show the examples from several athletics tournaments. They show how insecure javelin can be. First video is from Golden League Rome on the 13th of July 2007. Finn Tero Pitkämäki threw the javelin too far. Unfortunately it hit another athletes - French long jumper - Salim Sdiri. The injuries were considerable. The third video is from championship Trophy Brazil in the Sao Paulo. Brazilan judge - Lia Mara Lourenco was injured. Falling javelin pierced her feet. She was taken to the hospital with javelin in her body. It was removed during the operation.
