Capoeira an Afro-Brazilian art, does not focus on injuring the opponent. Rather, it emphasizes skill. Capoeira primarily attacks with kicks, sweeps, and head strikes. This video shows capoeira fight, but one of the fighters preferred making show rather than fighting. He was not even able to fight off. At the beginning of the fight he felt much too confident… He was knocked down by his opponent.

During the Football League Championship, Watford F.C. played against Reading F.C., the team that was relegated from the 18th place of Premier League last season. The match took place on the 20th of September 2008. There was confusion near the goal, and several players wanted to score. The goalkeeper managed to save few goals, and then the linesman - Nigel Bannister announced, that there was a goal. The thing is, that ball did not cross the line. Maybe the referee was just blind to fair play behavior… I hope that this referee would be learning by trial and error.

During normal match something unbelievable happened - the storm has begun. Watching the video man would not be able to see the flash of lightning, but man would see the flash of light. Then 8 players laid down on the playground. Nobody knew what happened. But the lightning was extremely strong, and nine people, including coach, was taken to the hospital. Luckily - lightning never strikes twice in the same place…

It is really amazing video! The group of teenage boys was playing football on the school playground. Suddenly the tornado came out of nowhere. It was moving quickly. Luckily nobody was injured - everybody managed to run away. But all the pupils were really scared. They wanted to play football, but instead the tornado played a trick on them.

Slum-dunk is jumping up and putting the ball in the net with a lot of force. But sometimes slum dunks are quite dangerous. Especially when the playground looks quite old and the players are not professional. Like in this video - young basketball player wanted to make slum-dunk, but instead he overturned the basket. Unfortunately the accident was not avoided. He was really lucky that he did not hurt himself. After this situation he got up like nothing happened.

This scarry situation is from Premier Soccer League of South Africa (PSL). It happened during the match between Orlando Pirates FC and Black Leopards on 17th January 2007, in the Ellis Park. At the beginning everything looked quite normal, but suddenly the weather has changed. The strong blow of wind seized several sign boards. They started flying among the football players. Two footballers and linesman was injured. But the referee- Charl Theron, stopped the match only for few minutes. All professional players have to be prepared for this kind of situation, because the best teams in the world will play in South Africa during World Cup finals in 2010.

There are some people in the world, that are going to do anything to exercise their job. Like this first aider who helped the Derby’s goalkeeper - Roy Carroll during the match between Derby County F.C. and Manchester United F.C. I suppose, he wanted to do him a massage, but… he committed himself to this work perfectly… What is the most important - the player looked quite satisfied…

During the football matches players often get hurt. First aid is always available on the playground. It is simple medical treatment that is given to somebody before a doctor comes. But sometimes first aider are hurting instead of helping. Some of them look really unexperienced and nervous. These four videos show the worst first aiders… First video is about a first aider, who forgot about the injured player. Or maybe he did not know how to use the stretcher… He had struck the player twice before he managed to leave the playground.

This couple is really incredible. They laid down the player on the stretcher very carefully, but they were not unanimous. Each one started carrying him in the two different directions. Unfortunately they all tumbled down.

The first aider from this video hurt the player more than he was before the medical treatment.

And last, but not least, the video about Japanese first aiders, who lost his patient. They carried the player using their hands, but tell me, why every stretcher has additional wheels?

Everyone knows that man can not be too confident. But I suppose that the hero of this video - young motorcyclist did not know that. During amateur race he was trying to show to everyone his abilities, but unfortunately… he could not control his motorbike. It slipped through the others motors. It was really dangerous situation, and only by a stroke of luck, nobody was injured.

It is believed, that all sports are dangerous. But some of them are more than others. Surprisingly athletics, can be incredibly critical. These videos show the examples from several athletics tournaments. They show how insecure javelin can be. First video is from Golden League Rome on the 13th of July 2007. Finn Tero Pitkämäki threw the javelin too far. Unfortunately it hit another athletes - French long jumper - Salim Sdiri. The injuries were considerable. Sometimes the Olympic stadium can be too small…

The third video is from championship Trophy Brazil in the Sao Paulo. Brazilan judge - Lia Mara Lourenco was injured. Falling javelin pierced her feet. She was taken to the hospital with javelin in her body. It was removed during the operation.
